On Sunday I closed my sermon with the amazing story that former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev has been a closet Christian for years, putting into a new light his 1989 meeting with Pope John Paul II.

UPDATE: Looks like we have more information, and he is not a Christian. Oh well, it was interesting while it lasted.
